Hey guys, thought I would get rid of my old journal on my page and replace it with a bitchy one. 8D So yeah I got my braces three days ago and it's hurting so much right now, but I'm taking drugs every 4 hours so it's not as bad as before. When I got them on I was all like, "Ah, this isn't so bad, I don't see why everyone gets their panties in a knot. Gawd people over react so much." ...5 hours later... "OH SWEET JESUS, WHAT IS HAPPENING TO MEEEE!!!???11 WHY DO YOU ALL HATE MEEEE???!!1!!oneshift? DAMN YOU BRACES!!!!!11 IT HURTS SO BAD IT MAKES ME WANT TO PUNCH INFANTS!!11" Yeah so that's the story of my life.
Sorry that I've been so inactive, there's really no excuse, I've just been feeling lethargic lately. And I've been practicing with my tablet and experimenting with Corel painter, and SAI. So far I'm getting the hang of it, it's really fun and the inking in SAI is like a dream. C:
I'm not looking forward to a wedding that's coming up, I've never been to one before and I hardly know my cousins, I don't even know which one is getting married! OTL <--(never thought I would use that.) I also don't like wearing dresses, I bought a bubble gum pink dress a few weeks ago. My mom and sis thinks it looks good on me but I'm not too sure. There will also be dancing at the wedding (of course) which I suck at.
So how are you guys handling the new DA system? Must be nice to see yours messages and thumbs instead of having to click on them and wait. Personally, I like it, even though there's really no point in having a subscription, it's easier to use. They said there will be a special feature for us subscribers soon, they're still working on it I believe. I also think it looks clean and sleek, very cool DA.
Has anyone seen The dark Knight yet? I'm going to watch it tomorrow and I can't wait! (Is a week late.)

lol, the last time i attended a wedding was... hmm... when i was like ten or eleven. i think ten. it was uberly boring, but maybe i just thought that because i was younger and hated going to events that didn't have anything to do with me, LOL. i was such a sweet little girl then
i also like the new system~ so when my sub runs out i can still have my lovely thumbnails and comment and journal previews, so i can be lazy and not buy myself a new one

Don't listen to the part where they tell you not to things cause it will hurt the braces it's a lie! The only trouble I had was i ate fruit snacks and the back clamp thingy came off my tooth (but that wasn't until like a month before i got them off)

I know what you mean D: I have had braces, and I couldn't sleep because of the pain D: I had to take some pills/drugs that I could sleep... but after few days (and few drugs ) it started to be easier I hope that you don't have to suffer of the pain long...
Braces are such a bitch when it comes to the pain It will pass soon then they won't hurt much ^^
The last wedding I went to was when I was quite young- so young I've forgotten when XD My next one is in September(I miss a day of school XD)I'm seeing my Mum's best friend's daughter get married.
I got braces when I was in first grade and I do remember them hurting.
But, what hurt most, for me anyway, was getting them off.

Braces don't hurt when you get them put on, I'll tell you what they do so it's not too scary. They first polish your teeth, then they put this guard in your mouth so it traps water and gunk that won't go down your throat. They then put glue on your teeth (no flavor or anything)and either put them all on at once or put the brackets on seperately. They then take this light and shine it over your teeth to dry the glue. They put the wires in and ask you what color you want them and then they're done. Right when you get home take pain killers right away, even if your teeth aren't hurting. I was stupid and didn't do that and ended up in a lot of pain. D:
